About Dr Lauren
Lauren is a friendly and caring Osteopath that graduated from Victoria University in 2007 and strongly believes the whole family can benefit from the holistic approach of osteopathy. Lauren has completed extensive post-graduate study into the field of Paediatrics and Obstetrics, having undertaken studies into Osteopathy in the Cranial Field and completing a Graduate Certificate in Neonatal, Infant and Paediatric Manual Therapy.
She has a keen interest in the treatment of pregnant women, babies and children of varying ages. Having had two children herself she understands the demands pregnancy and a busy family life can have on a mother.
Lauren has also undertaken further studies with DMA (Dance Medicine Australia) into Clinical Pilates. She takes a holistic approach to your treatment and excels in combining her Osteopathic and Clinical Pilates training to help with your general health and wellbeing.
Having grown up and competed in various sports around the Berwick area, ranging from softball and netball to jazz, tap and ballet dancing from a young age, Lauren understands the demands placed on the bodies of athletes of varying ages.
Lauren uses a range of Osteopathic techniques to obtain excellent results with her patients. These include, soft tissue massage and stretching, articulation and manipulation, and more gentle techniques such as cranial osteopathy and balanced ligamentous tension.
When not at work Lauren enjoys travelling and going on outdoor adventures with her two little girls, husband, family and friends; as well as spending time at the beach and wining and dining with friends and family.
